My passion for horses began at the age of five when I started riding in England. Although that initial stage lasted about nine months, upon returning to Gran Canaria, I reconnected with the equestrian world at the age of nine, and since then, it has been a fundamental part of my life. During this time, I have been deeply involved in horseback riding and, especially, in competition, excelling in show jumping with my beloved Bribón, dressage, and vaulting, a discipline in which I became the Spanish champion three times.
Even before entering university, I was clear that my vocation was in horse rehabilitation. In 2007, I began my Veterinary studies at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), graduating in 2013. That same year, I started a postgraduate course as an Expert in Veterinary Rehabilitation at the Equine Clinic, taught by the Equidinamia team, which marked the beginning of my specialization in this field.
In 2016, I expanded my training by delving into animal chiropractic with AIQA, obtaining certification in both small animals and equines. Continuing with my learning, in 2019, I took a dry needling course for horses in the Netherlands, taught by the prestigious Eqix school.
Also I am certified riding instructor.
Today, I combine everything I have learned over the years in my sessions, integrating manual techniques, myofascial therapy, therapeutic exercises, dry needling, chiropractic, and various modalities of electrotherapy such as TENS, magnetotherapy, FES, INDIBA (radiofrequency), and shock waves. My goal is always to offer a comprehensive approach to optimize the well-being and recovery of horses, helping them reach their maximum physical potential.
